was not expecting this to be such a wholesome and unproblematic slow-burn romance considering the title lmao but I was pleasantly surprised! this show was adorable! and like, weirdly introspective and insightful about figuring out what love feels like and realizing the importance of communicating your feelings to each other and whatnot. lots of goofy silly moments too obv with the premise and all that but esp in the latter half there were lines where I was like dayum that's kinda deep!
also I like how everyone has agency in their relationships and there's no issues with consent and everyone is a mature adult with careers and shit! love that for them! and everyone is so accepting of kurosawa and adachi getting married at the end! 🥹 even tho gay marriage isn't legal in japan 😡
also that one girl in the office who ships kurosawa and adachi lmao u just like me frfr I was cracking up every time she was being the fujo audience insert lol
