This one was really Lila’s story.
It connected back to how Bingo and Lila first met, but I still couldn’t help feeling for Bandit. You can really see how hard he’s trying to keep up with everything as a dad, and honestly, parenting looks exhausting.
Also learned the phrase “Rack ’em and stack ’em” from this episode. The Japanese subtitles went with something like “Get in the car, hurry up!”, but it feels more like “Alright, everyone in! Let’s move!” to me.
And I finally noticed how Bandit always says “Biscuits!” whenever he’s annoyed or exasperated. Apparently, that’s one of his classic “Dad phrases” — along with food-based expletives like “Cheese and jam!” and “Beans on toast!”
Love those little Bandit-isms.
リラの物語だった｡ ビンゴとリラの出会いには繋がったけどそれでもパパのバンディットの子育ての必死さに大変さに同情せざるを得なかった｡
あと英語の話で“Rack ’em and stack ’em”という言葉を学べたし(字幕は「さっさと くるまにのれ！」だったけど「さあ、みんな乗って！急いで！」くらいの温度感みたい)パパがよく「まったく！」「もう！」って時に“Biscuits!”って言ってることに気づけたのが嬉しかった｡バンディット特有の「Dadphrase」的なものにバンディットの代表的な「food expletives」として“Biscuits!”と“Cheese and jam!”と“Beans on toast!”があるみたい｡
