Ross’s story in the opening was so boring that everyone’s mind started wandering, and they were all thinking about completely different things. I liked that—it felt fresh.
I also remembered Joey’s soap opera “lecture” scene from the YouTube channel Friends English Conversation Cafe.
The scene where Phoebe talks to the kid sitting in the race car turned out to be the perfect setup for her pretending to buy it later.
By the way, I didn’t realize Phoebe was a vegetarian.
When Rachel’s dad says “The lobster.” at the restaurant, it reminded me of Missy’s lobster scene in Young Sheldon.
Joey losing the audition to his own student—tough luck.
And I was surprised when Janice kissed her ex-husband Gary.
Janice never disappoints.
Her “Oh. My. God!” will always be one of my favorites.
オープニングのロスの話が退屈でみんなそれぞれ上の空でみんなそれぞれ別のこと違うこと考えてるの新鮮でよかった｡ この回のジョーイの昼メロ講義のところYouTube『フレンズ英会話カフェ』で見たの覚えてた｡ フィービーがレースカーに座ってる子どもに言葉をかけるあのシーンが見事にレースカーを買うフリになってた｡ ていうかフィービーってベジタリアンだったのね｡ レイチェルのパパがレストランで「お勧めはロブスター」って言ってるとこ見て『ヤングシェルドン』でミッシーのロブスターのシーン想い出しちゃった｡ 弟子に負けてオーディションに落ちたジョーイはドンマイ｡ ジャニスが元夫ゲリーとキスしてびっくり｡ さすがジャニスは期待を裏切らない｡ ジャニスの“Oh. My. God!”は一生好き｡
