Ben was as adorable as ever.
For a second I found myself wondering, “Wait—was Ross or Chandler Ben’s godparent?” Then I remembered it was actually Phoebe. She was the one who said “Ben” when she got locked in the closet with Ross and Susan during Carol’s labor. Such a nostalgic callback.
I also learned that “doobie” means a marijuana joint from the scene where Rachel pretends to smoke to fit in with her coworkers.
So many moments in this episode were familiar from YouTube’s Friends English Cafe—the Monica/Chandler argument, Chandler opening the door when he hears someone coming, and Joey and Ben’s “Mmm, noodle soup” scene.
And yeah, getting your birthday celebrated a month late would definitely throw anyone off. The punchline that Chandler’s birthday was actually closer was perfect.

あれ､ベンの名付け親ってロスだっけ､チャンドラーだっけ､と思ったらそういえばフィービーだったんだ｡キャロルの出産のときにロスとスーザンとフィービーが閉じ込められてフィービーが「ベン」って言ったんだ｡懐かしいや｡ レイチェルが同僚の輪に入ろうとしてタバコを持ったシーンでマリファナタバコはマリファナのジョイントは“doobie”って言うんだって勉強になった｡
モニカとチャンドラーの口論のところとかチャンドラーが誰か来たってドア開けるところとかジョーイとベンの「ンー ヌードルスープ」のところとかたくさんYouTube『フレンズ英会話カフェ』で見た｡ 確かに1か月前に誕生日を祝ってもらったら驚いちゃう｡ チャンドラーの誕生日の方が近いのいいオチだった(これもフレンズ英会話カフェで見た気がする)｡
