それぞれの戦争を終わらせ、
次世代に託すものとは。
戦争で生き残る事を選択したが、
世間から「生き残る」ことが恥とされ、
自戒と後悔の念で押しつぶされる主人公。
そこに現れ、暴れまわるゴジラ。
武装解除をされた日本で、
立ち向かう手段とは。
初代ゴジラを彷彿とさせる、アナウンサー、博士役、銀座の破壊。
昭和映画の色を出す、安藤サクラ、浜辺美波。
シンゴジラから受け継がれた、民間の力で立ち向かう姿勢。
それぞれリスペクトと先代を越えていく意地を感じた。
今まで少なかった海戦を中心に、
人を咥えてぶん投げたり、
モンスター的な動きをしたりと、今までになかったゴジラ像が新鮮で斬新。
元々あるVFX技術、
Alwaysで培った人間模様、
永遠のゼロで培った戦闘機、
アルキメデスの大戦で培った海戦、
今までのキャリア全てを結集して、ゴジラにぶつかる、
山崎貴の本気を感じる作品だった。
生きることと、
日本に受け継がれたDNAに敬礼を行いたい1作だった。

Focusing on naval battles, which have been rare until now,

The statue of Godzilla, which has never been seen before, is fresh and innovative, with monster-like movements.

The human nature cultivated at Always,
Fighter aircraft cultivated by the eternal zero,
Naval warfare cultivated in Archimedes' Great War,
Bringing together all of your career to date, colliding with Godzilla,
It was a work that made you feel the seriousness of Takashi Yamazaki.

It was a work that wanted to pay homage to the DNA that has been passed down to Japan.
