USJのシュレックの4Dアトラクションに小学生の頃から今まで15回は行っていて、シュレックには思い出がたくさん詰まっている。けれど、肝心な映画を今まで見たことがなくて、やっと見ることができた。
USJで関西弁のシュレックに慣れ親しんでいるので必ず字幕派の私にしてはかなり珍しくあえて吹き替えで鑑賞。どのキャラもUSJでの声そのままでやっぱり吹き替えで見てよかった。
よく調べると、シュレックはダウンタウンの浜田雅功、フィオナ姫は藤原紀香、ドンキーはアンパンマンのチーズ役の山寺宏一とかなり豪華でびっくり。
アトラクションの流れを全て暗記するほど行っていたから登場人物についてはよく知っていたつもりだったけれど、ドラゴンとドンキーが恋仲？になるとは知らなくてけっこうびっくり。そして、フィオナ姫が初めて登場したときに思っていたキャラと少し違っていてギャップがあった。
小さい頃から、なぜUSJのアトラクションなのにディズニーのキャラクターが登場するのだろう？と疑問に思っていた。今はなきマジカル・スターライト・パレードでもシンデレラや魔法の国のアリスなどディズニーのキャラを思いっきり使っていたし、USJって意外とそういうところは曖昧なのかなと思っていた。でも今回調べると、シュレックの制作会社ドリームワークスの創始者はディズニーに因縁があるみたい。それにしてもよく思いきってディズニーをディスる作品を作ったな。しかもそれが大ヒットしているからすごい。
改めてUSJのシュレックアトラクションに行きたいなと思うけれど、コロナを理由？にずっと休止されている…ターミネーターもエルモも休止しているし、本当に悲しい。
USJのアトラクションは二人が結ばれた後の話だったから、シュレック2も見る予定。
最後になったけれど、サントラがけっこう良い。
