The story of Edward Snowden is without a doubt a fascinating one and Levitt's portrayal elevate said story even further. That being said, Snowden has problem representing the inner dilemma and substantial issues buried within. The film 's biggest offender however is that it constantly acts more as an informant rather than a full-fledged cinematic experience--transitioning tumultuously from one sequence to another; Ultimately lacking any essential emotional depths.
