Based on a true story.
Homeless and a street musician, James Bowen was trying to recover from drug addiction. His support worker gave him a flat to live in. On the first day he moved in, a street cat came into his flat looking for food. James released the cat but he came back again so somehow they started to live together unwillingly. His neighbor Betty named the cat Bob.
Bob helps him make money busking, in their touching symbiotic relationship. Bob also acts as a matchmaker of sorts as James develops a romantic relationship with Betty.
Bob totally changed James's life and brought him back to another side of life.
That was a heartwarming story. James was lucky to have Bob and without Bob, he might not be able to recover from drug addiction.
