Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is a 2-hours long marketing tool to sell more miniature dolls to bunch of dudes (and gals) with high disposable income; Calling Ordinal Scale a film is honestly an insult to other animated feature with similar--more often less--budget. Depth is non existent throughout its runtime and couple that with its ludicrous deus ex machina, SAO cinematic entry is nothing but loud spectacle with no substance. It infuriates me that a work with this caliber receives a theatrical release. If you're a fan of this franchise, don't be blinded by the "film's" fan service. Let them know that they're producing trash so they would at least try for the next one.
