・封印
・原作と違い、本から醸成される奥ゆかしさが反映されていないが、映画としての体裁は十分に整っていたので、好きと嫌いが混在し凄く複雑な気持ちで観た。
・あんなに素晴らしい一作目を生み出してくれたことに感謝をしているが、自分が期待しすぎていることも問題だが、映画だと割り切ってしまうのが切なくこれ以上のものを求めてしまう。

・神的存在であったメサイアに対し、チャニを疑い深いキャラクターにすることで次章へ繋げる。全く金の臭いしかしてこない構造だ。
・『(植え付けた信仰など)希望ではない』とポールが言う。これは民が決めることであり指導者(になりうる存在)が決めることではない。そしてこの言葉は宗教的意識の強要に近いものを感じる。マジョリティの勧善懲悪ほど有害なものはないはずなのに、この映画はむしろそれを否定するフリをして推し進めている。

1人目
Overall, the only charitable conclusion I can make here is that this is a movie that borrows the title, the names of the characters and seemingly little else from the titular books.
It definitely doesn't borrow the plot to any great degree, so this ends up being a boring pace opera.
2人目
The first movie was quite good, the plot remained quite faithful to the books and overall, I looked forward to the second and maybe more instalments with some degree of anticipation.
But somewhere along the way, the decision to turn the multi-faceted epic to a space opera seems to have been made.
