質量(mass)とエネルギー(energy)には関連があるとする発見、それが相対性理論(theory of relativity)。
物理とか科学はさっぱりなので、相対性理論の考え方が原爆(atomic bomb)の発明の原理となっていたことなどは知らなかった。
爆弾を作るために発見した理論ではないのに、Einsteinはとても苦しい思いだっただろう(“Oppenheimer”でも描写があった)
映画で使われたEinsteinの台詞はすべて彼が実際に言ったことや記したことということで、平和主義者で、心がやさしく、賢い 、そんなEinsteinの言葉ひとつひとつに考えさせられた。
相対性理論の説明なんてユーモア溢れててほんと素敵だった。
Einstein没後、この世界はまったく平和になっていない。倫理観も成長していない。今の世界を見て、きっと彼はとても悲しんでいるのではないかと思う。
Einsteinが12週間も日本に滞在していたなんて知らなかった。嬉しい☺️
