Okja depicts a tale that echoes E.T and Babe. Akin to those film, it carries the underlying theme of friendship in midst of corporate feuds. Bong Joon-ho presented a visually stunning cinematography, bringing a grander sense of speed and engagement to accompany the film's rivaling ideologies and intelligent corporate satire. Okja greatest triumph however lies in its ability to juggle its numerous tonal threads, while still manages to deliver an electrifying coherent narrative.
