Tracing memories from before I was born...

The filmmaker visits Algeria—his father’s homeland—armed with a Super 8 film camera.

The film employs a montage style reminiscent of Jonas Mekas, expanding its scope from the family to encompass the memories of war and colonialism rooted in that land.
