【鑑賞メモ】

数年前に観た当時は、Filmarksに登録されていなかった作品。

家父長制クソ喰らえ、と腹の底から叫びたくなるような胸糞映画（そしてこれが実話という悪夢）なので、再鑑賞する勇気はない。けど、大きな意味のある映画だと思う。

殺された私の日常についてー

自分の人生を自分で選ぼうとしたクルド系の一人の女性が、保守的な家族の「名誉」という価値観によって命を奪われるまでを描いた実話映画。

実際の被害者に配役をし、"2つのからだ"を通し物語の力をつかって、家族の内部にある男性性、家父長制、共同体の「名誉」への執着を問うている。イスラムvs西洋という単純な構図からは脱している。

On the everyday life of a woman who was killed—

This film is based on a true story depicting the life of a Kurdish woman who sought to choose her own path, only to have her life taken from her due to her conservative family's concept of "honor."

By casting an actress who shares the victim's background and utilizing the power of storytelling through the medium of the human body, the film interrogates the masculinity, patriarchy, and obsession with "honor" found within the family and community. It moves beyond the simplistic dichotomy of Islam versus the West.
