What an insult this was. As a huge fan of the first movie, this sequel just had way to many F*CK YOU moments that shocked me beyond belief. Especially a death involving one of the main characters.
Guillermo Del Toro’s vision and passion for robots and monsters that was present in the first movie is completely gone here.
Instead, they turned this franchise into a half assed Gundam Transformers knock-off.
One of the biggest let downs of the year.
