Saw this while I was visiting Texas. And my god this was a gem.
This is a movie about two Texas bank robbers and the sheriff after them.
The whole first half is pretty relaxed. Character dialogue and the pacing goes naturally with the flow of the slow moving life in Texas.
But all that is a buildup to an amazing second act that becomes so tension packed.
Chris Pine has never been better. Ben Foster continues to amaze me. He is one of the best character-actors out there. Jeff Bridges was also very subtle. He wasn't hammering it up like he was in R.I.P.D.
Check it out especially if you like the Coen brothers.
