One of the best movies I have ever seen. It seems so real- no soundtrack, protagonists that act just as I would, and who are at the mercy of chance and fate just as anybody else. The lack of a final standoff between Llewellyn and Chigurh also reinforces the realism of the movie and the distance from traditional storytelling. When Llewellyn dies, then you also remember that he was never the narrator to begin with! I also love the character of Chigurh, it is so interesting to see who he does or doesn’t kill, and then examining why.
A treasure of cinema!!
