Nice mix of chaos and comedy in this episode — Thanksgiving and Joey’s STD awareness poster, what a combo.
The weight behind the line “What Mario isn’t telling you…” really hits. It sounds simple, but it carries a lot of meaning and awkward truth at the same time.
Monica and Rachel’s real fight was intense and so compelling to watch. Monica completely losing her temper was honestly fascinating — I almost wanted the scene to go on longer.
And Rachel throwing down the key… come on, that was definitely on you!
It also made me think again about how raising the pitch at the end of a sentence turns it into a question in so many languages. That’s such a small thing, but really interesting when you notice it.
And Thanksgiving parades in the U.S. look huge. I wonder if they were just more over-the-top back then, or if they’re still that big today.
“What Mario isn’t telling you…”
