まさか、こんな気持ちにさせられるなんて！
兄弟が人生をかけて創り上げたマクドナルドが、「創始者」レイ・クロックによって奪われ、拡がり、今日もわたしの胃袋に納まって。
子どものとき、週末ハハに「今日マクドナルドにしよっか」と言われたときのテンションの上がりようは尋常じゃなかった。特に、ポテトが最後の1本になったときの絶望といったら！
そんななんでもない光景が、兄弟が流した涙の上に成り立っていたとは。
レイ・クロックさんは圧倒的悪役として描かれていて、心情的には兄弟を応援したいし、「人に迷惑をかけない」「他人を傷つけない」というのは人間の、最低限守るべき行動原理のひとつだと思っている、のに、いわゆる「最大多数の最大幸福」というのか、数の力の前には屈服せざるをえないときもあるのかな。
そりゃあ、じゃあマクドナルドがなかったら絶対に困るかと言われたら、大人になってからは主にカロリー面で遠ざけているし、今の世の中いくらでも代替はあるんだろうけど、むしろもしかしてないほうがよかった説もあるかもしれないけど、子どものころの思い出まで否定したりなかったことにはできないし、でもそれじゃあ、兄弟のマクドナルドは･･･わーー！の繰り返しな映画でした。その時点でもう、歴代ファウンダー達の掌の上ですね、、、
なぜ、こんな映画を作ったのか？誰に、何を伝えるために？という疑問がすごくわいて少し調べてみると、マクドナルド社は関わってないみたいですね、、、そりゃそうか。
それにしたって、何かを犠牲にしてても、利益ばかり追求してたとしても、レイ・クロックという人はすごい人だ。成功するには才能ではなく根気だと言っていたけど、それも才能だよなと思う。
この映画と、そのあといろいろ見た中のおどろき、
・1日に世界人口の1%がマクドナルドを口にしている。
・イメージキャラクターのドナルドは、2016年頃からのピエロ騒動を受けて活動自粛中。そういや最近見ないなと思ったら、、、ハンバーグラーとかいたなー。このキャラクターも、マックさん達から見たら発狂しそう。でもやっぱり好きでした。あのよくわからないもじゃもじゃとか、、、
まさしくアメリカの映画！ということで、がんばって英語でも書いてみました。
How could have I imagined that this film made me have such a feeling!
The McDonald brothers devoted their lives to create "Mcdonald's", "the founder" Ray Kroc took it away from them and it mekes me full.
In my childhood, it was one of the happiest thing that my mother suggests to go to McDonald's on weekend. I was really sad to see the last part of a french fry.
It's usual family memories but I didn't know that tears of the brothers are behind them.
Ray Kroc was portrayed as the villain in the film, so I was on the brother's side emotionally because not to bother others nor not to hurt others are the important fundamental policies for human beings. However, I can't help but think that sometimes "the greatest happiness of the greatest number" has priority.
I admit that Mcdonald's is not indispensable for my life. Since I was grown, I avoid it as much as possible for my health and there are thousand of alternatives in this world today. Someone might even say that it should be vanished. Even so, I can't deny my child memories, but then the brothers' Mcdonald's... my thoughts repeat repeat like this and I'm really cofused. Maybe the founders had expected that.
Why this film has created? For who? What messagies in this film? I found that Mcdonald's is not in charge of the production of this film. No wonder about that.
But still Ray Kroc was a great man even though he sacrificed many things and pursued only interests. He said a talend is not important for a success but patience, but I think the patience is also one of the talents.

・Appearances of Ronald McDonald are limited after the due to the rise in clown-related disturbances in America 2016. It's true that I haven't seen him for a while. I miss the Hamburglar...that characters would make Mac Mcdonald insane, but I loved them. I miss the character, too, something hairy...
