"Logan Lucky" was directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, and Daniel Craig. This story is about men trying to steal tons of money while the biggest motor race is being held. Jimmy Logan, played by Channing Tatum, who is recently fired from his job as a constructor on account of a injury that left him with a permanent limp plans to steal money from the vault during an upcoming car show. With a help from his brother Clyde, played by Adam Driver, who is a one-armed bartender and Joe, played by Daniel Craig, who's been incarcerated for robbing a vault before, three men makes a strategy to pull it off, sharing their knowledge. Is it going as they plan...
Steven Soderbergh has returned from a retirement of directing with this heist film. He'd been saying that "Side Effects" would be his final film but finding its script of Logan Lucky very interesting, he decided to take it on for himself luckily! This film has got an approval rating of 93%. I enjoyed "Oceans 11" and "Side Effects" but even though most of his films have got lots of good reviews, I always felt they were a bit overrated so that I actually didn't expect it to be as good as critics said. Yeah it was what I had expected, an entertaining and very comical heist film. I mean it was very an ok movie for me. The plans of robbery and how to distract people's attentions, which the three hilarious guys are making, are really interesting though and the scene in which the inmates are somehow helping them was so funny cos it could never happen in reality, could it? If you love his films and how he directs, I guarantee that you'd love it.
Thank you for reading my review of "Logan Lucky", coming out in November in Japan!!
Going into this movie I really didn't know too much about it and I'm glad I didn't. I thought this was a great heist movie and it was so funny to! I was laughing almost the whole time! I highly recommend it.
